Effective date: November 1, 2026 (previous version: October 24, 2026)
Honey Bloom (the "App") is a mobile puzzle game by the independent developer Jo Minjun (the "Developer"). This policy tells you which data the App uses, where the App keeps it, and how the App uses it.
1. Data stored only on your device
The App does not ask you to sign up or log in. The App keeps the data below only on your device. The App does not send this data to the Developer's servers.
Game progress and in-game currency
Settings
Ad reward records (ad attempt IDs and receipt IDs)
When you delete the App or use Settings > Delete account in the App, this data is deleted too (see section 4).
2. League (online rankings)
In the league, you compete for one week against up to 30 players in the same group. When you clear a level and get league points, the App creates an anonymous account and joins the league automatically. The App then sends the data below to the Developer's league server.
Data
Purpose
Anonymous account ID (a random identifier that the App creates)
To identify each player, to assign groups
Nickname, chosen profile picture
To show the leaderboard
Season, tier, total score
To calculate rankings, promotion and demotion
Other players in your group can see your nickname, profile picture and score on the leaderboard. Do not use a nickname that identifies you, such as your real name or contact details.
The App does not send your email address, phone number, advertising identifier or location to the league server.
When the App sends a request to the server, the hosting provider's logs can record connection data, such as your IP address.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows two types of ads through Google AdMob.
Rewarded ads: You watch these ads only when you choose to. The App uses them for a life refill, a doubled clear reward, boost time, continuing after a failure, and the video rewards on the home screen (petals, boost time and unlimited lives).
Interstitial ads: When you leave the result screen of a failed round, the App sometimes shows this type of ad. These ads give no reward.
To request and show ads, Google can collect and process the data below.
Device advertising identifiers: the Android Advertising ID and the iOS IDFA. On iOS, Google uses the IDFA only if you allow tracking.
Your IP address, and the approximate location that Google can get from it
Device and operating system data, app usage data, ad interaction data and diagnostic data
The Developer keeps league records while the league service operates. League records are your anonymous account ID, nickname, profile picture, season, tier and score. The Developer keeps them to show the rankings of past seasons.
You can delete your account yourself in the App under Settings > Delete account. The deletion occurs in this sequence:
The server deletes, without delay, your league records for all seasons, your nickname, your profile picture and your anonymous (authentication) account.
The App deletes the game progress, petals and items on your device.
You cannot recover deleted data.
If the App cannot confirm that the server deletion is complete (for example, because of a connection problem), the App does not delete the data on your device. Some of your server records can already be deleted. Check your connection and try again.
If the App cannot verify your account, the App cannot delete your server records. For example, this occurs when the league sign-in data on your device is damaged, or when the server rejects the identity check. In this case, the App deletes only the data on your device. Your league records, nickname and profile picture stay on the server. Send the nickname that you saw in the league and when you played to the contact in section 10. The Developer finds the records and deletes them.
When you ask for deletion by email, or when the Developer ends the league service, the Developer deletes the records from the server database without delay. You cannot recover deleted records.
When you delete the App or your account, the data on your device is deleted too.
Processor: Supabase operates the league server and stores its data. Data: the league records and connection records in section 2. Location: Seoul, South Korea (AWS ap-northeast-2). Retention: the same as section 4.
International transfer: Google requests, shows and measures ads. Data: the ad-related data in section 3. The App sends this data over the internet to Google servers (in the USA and other countries) with each ad request. Retention: Google's policies. To refuse personalized ads, decline tracking on iOS or delete your Android advertising ID. If you do not want the App to send ad data at all, do not use the App.
6. Notifications
The App schedules two types of notifications on your device.
Notification
When
Life refill
When you have no lives left, at the time your next life refills
Video rewards
After you collect all the video rewards on the home screen, when their rest time ends
The App does not send data to a server for these notifications. You can turn off notifications in your device settings.
7. Consent and choices (including personalized ads)
When users in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland start the App for the first time, the App shows Google's consent screen. You can change your consent at any time in the App under Settings > Privacy settings.
On iOS, the App asks if you allow tracking. If you do not allow tracking, you can still play and get ad rewards in the same way. If you do not allow tracking, you see non-personalized ads. You can change this choice in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings.
You can delete your league records yourself in the App under Settings > Delete account (see section 4).
You can also ask by email to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your league records. Send the nickname shown in the league and when you played to the contact in section 10. The Developer checks the request, completes it within 10 days and tells you the result.
8. Children
The App is not for children under 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
If the data that the App processes changes, the Developer updates this page and its effective date.
